Last week, acclaimed opera singer James Valenti gave a presentation to Pascack Valley students about the opportunities he was able to experience because of his career. He discussed his professional work as an opera singer using photographs as references. Valery Berenshtein, a senior at Pascack Valley, was asked by PV Choir Director Mrs. Argine Safari to sing since she was already familiar with the repertoire that Valenti wanted to present to the audience. During the assembly, Valery sang one aria, “Ju Voux Vivre” and one duet with Valenti, “Ange Adorable”. Both arias are from the opera, Romio et Juliette.
