The Smoke Signal's editing staff poses with their certificate for New Jersey Distinguished Journalism in Division B.

 

Members of The Smoke Signal took a trip to the annual Garden State Scholastic Press Association Conference this past Monday.

At the conference, which is attended by many student journalists all across the state of New Jersey, The Smoke Signal was named New Jersey’s Distinguished Journalism program in Division B and additionally won nineteen separate awards based on specific articles and photos.
